TRUST & SAFETY

Safety Centre

Practical ways to keep control of your privacy, your connections and your boundaries.

Stay private

Start with a handle rather than identifying details. Keep your home address, workplace, phone number and personal documents off your profile. Review profile visibility and each photo's audience. Nearby uses an approximate postcode district and is optional; you can withdraw it in Edit profile.

Recognise fake accounts and scams

Be cautious with rushed intimacy, inconsistent stories, urgent money requests, suspicious links and anyone asking for sign-in codes or identity evidence. Do not pay a stranger to prove you are genuine. Email confirmation or a profile badge is not evidence that a person is safe or who they claim to be. If unsure, pause the conversation and block them.

Meet on your terms

Meet somewhere public first, arrange your own transport and let a trusted person know your plans. Protect personal details, keep control of your ability to leave and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Verification is not a safety guarantee.

Reporting and blocking

  • Posts and related comments: open the post's Post options menu, explain the concern and choose Submit report.
  • Messages: use the Report control on the relevant message. Do not forward private or illegal material to other members as evidence.
  • Profiles: open the member's profile/connection controls and choose Block. Friends contains your Blocked profiles list and Unblock controls. Unblocking does not restore old friendships automatically.
  • Blocking revokes supported friendship, messaging and private-access paths. Previously downloaded files, screenshots and off-platform contact cannot be recalled.
  • Reports are stored by the backend; a staffed review service, general support contact, appeals process and guaranteed response time are not yet confirmed. Do not rely on reports for emergency assistance.

Protect your photographs

Choose Profile picture, Public gallery or Private gallery at upload. Private images can be hidden from other members or shown to friends; you can change an existing photo's audience in Edit profile. Album permissions have separate controls. Public means visible to permitted signed-in members, not a promise that a file can never be copied.

Share only photographs you have permission to use. Private storage and expiring links reduce exposure but cannot stop screenshots or copies. Removing permission does not erase an already downloaded file.

Understand verification

Email confirmation works today. Adults confirm their age and provide dates of birth for represented people, but independent age assurance and a complete manual authenticity process are not yet operational. Never assume that a badge establishes consent, identity beyond the check performed, or safety.

Emergency assistance

In an immediate UK emergency, call 999. If outside the UK, use the local emergency number. Leave an unsafe situation if you can do so safely and seek help from someone you trust. This site is not an emergency service and its reports are not monitored as an emergency channel.
